Yearly TPO VAH Reversal Short
Context
The yearly TPO VAH had been on the radar for a while as a potential reversal area. Bitcoin ground up into it exactly as expected. Early aggression appeared but levelled itself out - new longs coming in alongside shorts closing, not a clean enough signal to act on yet. The HTF supertrend fractal idea suggested price could push slightly further before the real turn. Patience held the trade off the table until the right moment.
Setup
Speed of Waves then showed aggressive positioning from both spot and futures longing into the high simultaneously. That kind of aggression into a major HTF resistance is exactly what creates the fuel for a reversal. The key was waiting for the defender to be lost - once that happened the short was on.
Entry
Short taken on the loss of the defender as Speed of Waves aggression at the yearly TPO VAH confirmed the setup.
Exit / Management
Bitcoin fell 5.3% from the area. Small profits taken after 2% with the rest of the position still running. A level watched for weeks, traded once, still working.

Daily Open Sweep Scalp Short

Context
A quick scalp idea built around the daily open that had never been properly backtested since the new day opened. Untouched daily opens like this often give a clean reaction when price finally comes back to clear them. Price swept some ask-side liquidity above the level too - enough to start looking for a short. Alert was already set on the level.
Setup
The order flow around the sweep was convincing. A P-shaped volume profile on the sweep candle with heavy positive delta concentrated at the top. A decent ask-side limit absorbing aggressive buyers before the sweep, a nice amount of liquidations into the highs, and Open Interest dropping during the move. Aggressive buying and liquidations into a naked daily open while OI declined and buyers got absorbed - the full package.
Entry
Short entered after the sweep of the daily open.
Exit / Management
Always intended as a quick scalp. TP1 hit at around 0.7-0.8% lower exactly as planned. The remaining position came back and stopped out at breakeven - the trade was taken in the evening and TP1 was reached overnight while asleep, otherwise the full position would have been closed there. No major profits but the setup played out exactly as expected. Stop set above the daily open and sweep area with risk removed by moving to breakeven once the initial move developed.
Gold & Silver AVWAP Double Play Long
Context
Gold and Silver were both being watched for support at the anchored VWAP from the last low. A double play was the plan - but the two metals had different stories developing. Gold came into the anchor first and got a clean bounce. Silver pumped earlier without ever touching the anchor. That divergence between the two was a tell - Gold's bounce was likely short-lived without Silver confirming the same level.
Setup
Gold's reaction at the anchored VWAP was clean but Silver's failure to reach the zone kept conviction low on a bigger move. The divergence between the two metals shaped how the trade was managed from the start.
Entry
Long taken on Gold as it tapped the anchored VWAP support. Silver monitored separately for its own entry once it came into the region.
Exit / Management
Early profits taken on Gold given Silver's divergence - the read proved right. Gold pushed around 1% and Silver delivered 1.7% once it finally came into the anchored VWAP region. Two markets, one level, managed differently based on what each market was showing.
Daily OB Support Flip Long
Context
A straightforward application of how Order Blocks work when they flip. This daily OB had been a major resistance area - price rejected from it three separate times. Then came a strong impulsive break through the OB on the same timeframe and everything changed. Previous resistance could now become support. No more shorts from here - the plan switched to waiting patiently for the first clean backtest of the daily OB and looking for a long.
Setup
Price gave exactly that backtest before the next major push higher. Trading back into the daily OB brought a decent amount of liquidations, bullish CVD developing while price ranged around the level, and futures order book imbalance turning nicely positive. Most importantly - previous resistance was holding as support. Nothing extreme needed. The structure was already strong enough on its own.
Entry
Long taken on the daily OB support flip as order flow added confirmation to the structural read.
Exit / Management
Price reacted strongly from the backtest. Profits taken a little too quickly - closed after only a few percent move. The full move eventually extended to around +10% from the daily OB. Definitely left money on the table but the trade played out exactly as planned. Invalidation was simple throughout - acceptance back below the daily OB would kill the support flip idea entirely.
