Range High + VWAP Close Scalp Short

Context
After an impulsive move the expectation shifted to ranging. The push up was fueled by liquidations and once that fuel runs out the market typically settles into a range. Once the first pivots of the range were established the focus moved to a scalp short at the highs - lining up with a VWAP close sitting above them as additional resistance. The level was marked and the alert was set.

Setup
Coming into the level the heatmap told the story. Walls were spawning right at the resistance zone and aggressive longs were trying to push for a breakout above. That kind of aggressive long positioning into a VWAP close resistance with walls appearing overhead is exactly the fuel needed for a short. The longs trying to break out became the entry signal.

Entry
Short taken as aggressive longs pushed into the VWAP close and heatmap walls confirmed the resistance was being defended.

Exit / Management
First TP hit after a 1.5% move. Trade ran for a total of 2% before the high was taken once more. Clean scalp from a well-read range setup - liquidation-fueled impulse, range established, resistance shorted from the top.

Stacked Selling Imbalance Retest Short

Context
After around a day and a half without taking any BTC shorts, an overextended move finally appeared worth watching. The exact high wasn't caught but the first rejection created a clean stacked selling imbalance zone - the kind of area that often produces a solid reaction on the retest. At the initial high, heavy spot buying came into the market and was being absorbed by ask-side limits. Price rejected and left the selling imbalances behind. Rather than chasing the initial rejection the plan was to wait for the retest. Alert set on the imbalance zone and patience was the play.

Setup
As price retraced and pushed back into the stacked selling imbalances, more aggressive spot buying came in. Spot CVD remained bearish overall with strong positive volume delta appearing again. Despite the aggressive buying, price struggled to continue higher - the buyers were being absorbed and would eventually need to be flushed out. That was the short thesis.

Entry
Short entered on the retest of the selling imbalance zone as aggressive spot buyers continued to get absorbed into the resistance.

Exit / Management
Price rejected nicely and moved lower. Position closed when price reached the next stacked buying imbalance zone with a large negative delta spike appearing - signaling that much of the aggressive positioning had finally been flushed. Final move around 2.5% drop from the short entry. Stop placed slightly above the local high around 78.4k with clear invalidation if price reclaimed the selling imbalance zone and accepted above the high.

NY Open P-Shape Short + Low Volume Node Long

Context
Live trading session at New York open. An immediate push on the open caught attention straight away - price trending upwards with new longs coming in. That kind of aggressive long positioning right at the open is suspect. The idea was that those longs would get flushed out and price would come down into the low volume node below. Two trades in one sequence - short the longs at the highs, then flip long when the area was reached.

Setup
Positive delta and new longs piling into the high left a P-shape profile at the top - a classic sign of trapped longs waiting to be squeezed out. The plan was discussed live on stream and the trades taken. Wait for the flush, take the short profit, then look for aggression at the low volume node for the long entry.

Entry
Short discussed on the P-shape formation at the highs as fresh longs confirmed the trap. Long entered live on stream when aggression appeared at the low volume node area.

Exit / Management
Short delivered 1.4% with first profits taken at 1%. Long from the low volume node ran for 1.8% - profits came after the session ended. Two clean trades from a single read mapped out at the open, both executed and discussed live throughout.

8H OB + Weekly Open Long

Context
During the session the focus was on a long from the lower 8H Order Block identified in advance. The area had several clean confluences stacked up: a clean 8H Order Block, the Weekly Open sitting inside the same area still waiting for a proper retest, and a strong positive delta zone visible on the volume delta profile inside the 8H OB. That positive delta showed buyers had previously been active there - a good indication they would try to defend their positions when price returned. Alert set on the zone well before price arrived.

Setup
As price tapped the 8H OB and Weekly Open, large spot selling came into the level. Some of that selling was absorbed by bid-side limits. On futures, some liquidations appeared alongside early longs getting flushed out. Nothing spectacular on the futures side - but spot absorption at a strong pre-planned support area was enough confirmation to act. Sometimes the structure and the spot flow are all that is needed.

Entry
Long taken from the 8H OB as spot absorption confirmed the level was being defended.

Exit / Management
Price reacted nicely and delivered around a 3.5% move higher. TP1 taken around 79.2k where inner liquidity was cleared. Final TP at the upper 1H Order Block resistance around 79.6k - position fully closed there. Stop placed below the 8H Order Block with clear invalidation on any acceptance below the higher timeframe support zone.
