Volume Bubble Reclaim Scalp Long (NY Open)
Context
New York open session live inside the academy. Bitcoin pulled into a deep retracement very close to the lows, the kind of move that shakes out the weak hands before reversing. Bullish CVD divergences were showing up and negative delta was printing into the low. The setup was the volume bubble strategy, mark out the aggressive selling bubble, wait for the reclaim, and let the risk-to-reward do the work.
Setup
The aggressive volume bubble was identified and marked in real time on stream. Bullish CVD divs building into negative delta at the lows gave the flow confirmation needed. The reclaim was the trigger, 1:3 risk-to-reward with the stop sitting just 0.3% below the low.
Entry
Long taken on the volume bubble reclaim as CVD divs and negative delta confirmed the setup live on stream.
Exit / Management
First profits taken at 1.2%. Scalp ran to 1.9% total from the entry. Stop was only 0.3% below the low, a textbook example of asymmetric risk on a well-timed entry. Walked through live within the Academy on the stream.
6H Order Block Long
Context
Several days of patience waiting for price to retrace into this 6H Order Block and finally the test arrived. Additional confluence stacked up around it: remaining stacked buying imbalances were fully cleared and higher timeframe support remained intact. The plan was simply to wait for price to reach the zone and let order flow confirm before pulling the trigger. Alert set on the 6H OB from the moment it was identified.
Setup
As price tapped the 6H Order Block the flow delivered exactly what was needed. Strong negative delta, large liquidations, Open Interest dropping, and over 250 BTC of spot selling absorbed at the lows. That kind of spot absorption at a major HTF level is one of the cleanest confirmation signals, buyers defending with size.
Entry
Long taken from the 6H Order Block tap as the full order flow confirmation came in.
Exit / Management
Price delivered around a +2% bounce. TP1 secured into the initial move. The reaction wasn't as strong as expected but it was enough. Stop moved to breakeven after TP1, remaining position eventually stopped out there. Profitable trade overall despite the smaller-than-expected continuation.
VWAP Close + TWAP Daily SR Flip Short
Context
The upside target had been discussed in the morning, when price arrived into the first area of interest the level was exactly as mapped. A VWAP close and daily TWAP converging created a textbook SR flip zone. Everyone was updated live that the level was being monitored, the key question was who would show their hand first.
Setup
First longs came into the level, followed by shorts. The read was clear and we were waiting for either longs to get trapped at the highs or aggression to confirm the short. Long trade ideas were also identified on the way down but no trade was taken, no aggression came into those levels so the plan stayed on the sidelines.
Entry
Aggressive scalp short taken on the SR flip as discussed live, longs trapped at the highs and short-side aggression confirmed.
Exit / Management
First TPs taken after a 1.5% drop. Price then continued for another 9% to the downside, a full continuation from a level identified before the session even opened. Long ideas on the way down were flagged publicly and skipped as we got no confirmation and no trade.
4H + 1H Order Block Confluence Long
Context
The setup was built around a 4H Order Block with a smaller 1H Order Block nested inside it. When both higher and lower timeframe order blocks remain untapped they often create a particularly strong support zone, two timeframes defending the same area. Additional confluence stacked up: remaining stacked buying imbalances waiting to be filled and a high-volume area on the volume profile within the same range, with positive delta nodes suggesting previous buyers were active there. The expectation was straightforward: buyers who accumulated in that zone previously would defend their positions on the retest. Alert set on the 4H OB well in advance.
Setup
As price retraced into the support zone, buying imbalances were cleared and structure held. Futures order flow was relatively quiet, but on spot, selling was being absorbed into support and the order book imbalance was nicely positive throughout. This trade leaned on the strength of the structural confluences rather than aggressive order flow confirmation.
Entry
Long taken from the 4H/1H Order Block confluence as imbalances cleared and spot absorption confirmed.
Exit / Management
Price reacted well from the support zone and reached around +4% from the 4H Order Block. TP1 taken at a high-volume area, TP2 at the next high-volume region, remaining position closed at approximately +3%. Price continued higher afterward but securing profits at predefined levels is the process.
