Daily nPOC Long (NY Open)

Context
New York open with limited levels nearby - the only thing worth tracking was the daily nPOC sitting below price. When the session opened a small fake bounce came in and the read was clear straight away. The entire local drop was just squeezing out longs - nothing more. The aggregated net positioning indicator confirmed it, showing longs closing throughout with no real short aggression entering. Liquidation spikes came with the move and they kept getting smaller and smaller. Then a small sign of aggression appeared. That was the signal.

Setup
The pattern was readable through the whole drop - longs being forced out, shrinking liquidation spikes, no fresh shorts with conviction. When the aggression finally showed up it was small but it was there. Small position size was the right call given the limited confluence nearby. Clear invalidation, defined risk, one clean signal to act on.

Entry
Long taken on the first sign of aggression at the daily nPOC with a reduced position size to match the setup quality.

Exit / Management
Trade ran further than expected - 3% total push from the entry. First profits taken after 1.8% with the stop moved to profit immediately after. Clean risk management on a trade that started with limited conviction but developed into a strong move.

Trendline Retest Long

Context
For higher and medium timeframe setups, the trendline that has received the most respect throughout a range is always the one worth watching. BTC had been respecting one particular trendline for quite some time making it a key level to monitor. As price accelerated lower it also cleared out liquidity from a previous inner low, adding weight to the area. The idea was straightforward, wait for the trendline test and look for a long. No overcomplication needed.

Setup
As price tapped the trendline, a large bid-side order book support was stacked below price. Open Interest increased noticeably at the lows with some spot absorption alongside it - nothing exceptional on the flow side but enough to support the entry. The main trigger here wasn't aggressive order flow. It was the combination of a well-respected trendline and strong bid-side support in the order book.

Entry
Long taken on the trendline retest as bid-side support confirmed the level was being defended.

Exit / Management
Profits taken progressively into the next high volume nodes with additional targets aligned with the Weekly VWAP. Move eventually extended to nearly 3% - position had already been fully closed slightly before the final high. Clean progressive exit into predefined resistance areas throughout.

FOMC Live Stream b-Shape Wick Scalp Long

Context
Live on X during the FOMC stream a local retracement came in with aggression and the tools were already open to read it in real time. The Hyperliquid Footprint Net Short chart showed exactly where shorts were being opened into the low - a precise read on who was positioning and where. Checking other exchanges confirmed the same pattern across the board. A b-shaped wick formed with aggressive shorts opening into it. The setup was right there, live in front of the whole stream.

Setup
The b-shape wick is a key tell - aggressive shorts entering into a wick low is often the fuel for a reversal rather than continuation. The plan was to wait for the backtest of the b-shape rather than buying the wick itself. Cleaner entry, better odds, tighter risk.

Entry
Long taken on the backtest of the B-shape wick as aggressive short positioning confirmed the trap - entered live on stream with everyone watching.

Exit / Management
Profits taken after a 1% move for a clean live scalp. Stop moved to profit immediately. Price eventually turned around but the reaction delivered guaranteed profits before it did. A textbook live trade from read to execution in real time.
